Overview

TangoSpeak is a medical translation app built with privacy as its foundation. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. All speech recognition, translation, and text-to-speech processing happens entirely on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks.

What Data We Collect

We collect no personal data whatsoever. Specifically:

• There are no user accounts or login credentials.
• There is no analytics, tracking, or telemetry of any kind.
• There are no third-party SDKs, advertising frameworks, or crash-reporting tools.
• There are no cookies or device fingerprinting mechanisms.

On-Device Processing

TangoSpeak uses Apple's native on-device frameworks exclusively:

• Speech Recognition: Apple SFSpeechRecognizer processes audio directly on your device.
• Translation: Apple Translation framework translates text locally without any network calls.
• Text-to-Speech: AVSpeechSynthesizer generates spoken output on your device.

Audio and translated text exist only in your device's memory during an active session. When a session ends, all data is discarded. Nothing is written to disk, saved to a database, or transmitted over any network.

No Third-Party Data Sharing

Because TangoSpeak does not collect any data, there is no data to share. We do not sell, rent, license, or disclose any information to third parties for any purpose.

Apple App Store

TangoSpeak is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain standard analytics related to app downloads, purchases, and crashes in accordance with Apple's own privacy policy. This data collection is managed by Apple, not by TangoSpeak. We encourage you to review Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

Subscription Data

Subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. Payment information is handled by Apple and is never accessible to TangoSpeak. We do not have access to your credit card number, billing address, or Apple ID.

Children's Privacy

TangoSpeak is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since TangoSpeak collects no data from any user, there is no risk of inadvertent data collection from minors.

California and Texas Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of California (under the CCPA/CPRA) or Texas (under the TDPSA), you have specific rights regarding your personal data, including the right to know what data is collected, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale.

Because TangoSpeak does not collect, store, or process any personal data, these rights are satisfied by default. There is no data to access, delete, or opt out of.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of TangoSpeak after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
